So excited about this new series! I am going to try to have a Tea Talk posted weekly and they will just be simple easy-read posts where I go over what I'm up to, what I'm loving, reading, drinking, etc. and what you can look forward to in the next weeks/months on the blog! I think they will be a fun way to connect and get to know each other a little better. So grab yourself a cup of tea, coffee or whatever your heart desires and take a few minutes for yourself! Today I brewed a cup of loose leaf tea that we bought when we were in Charleston, SC for our 1-year anniversary trip. We visited the spa at our hotel and drank this tea before going back for our massages. It's a lighter floral tea with a little bit of a minty layer and it's SO good. I could'nt find it online but Bellocq is the brand and it's the Le Hammeau flavor.
So far this week has been a great one. We have been feeling so much better and have just been spending a lot of time cleaning the house and organizing and getting back into a routine after the holidays. We took our Christmas decorations down this past weekend and it felt SO good. We have also been planning a trip for the spring that we're getting so excited about. We are thinking we will go somewhere in Mexico. We are trying to decide between resorts in Cancun and Cabo right now! Any suggestions would be awesome. We are open to other ideas as well! There is nothing better than having something warm and relaxing to look forward to in the middle of wintertime. Side note, this winter has been one of the absolute coldest we've ever experienced on the gulf coast of Alabama. It's crazy cold for us!
I'm super excited because this week I have started working on a new website for my design business. Over the past few months, my Etsy shop has been growing which is great but it also means that more of my profit goes back to Etsy and I think I'm finally to the point where having my own website would be more beneficial. I am super pumped to have a new fresh space for my wedding stationery and print designs.
I have been loving the Tone It Up Studio app! It's a monthly subscription of $12.99 but it's so motivating and helpful when it comes to working out at home. I have never been much of a gym person so I love having something fun to help motivate me to keep exercising. It's cool because you can actually go on every Sunday and schedule your workouts out for the rest of the week and they have SO many options and there is a workout every hour of every day. They are usually under 30 minutes but so effective. I highly recommend trying the app if you are looking for something to get you motivated!
I am currently trying to decide what to add to my dōTERRA order for February. Any suggestions from my fellow essential oil lovers? I honestly want one of everything but just trying to pace myself!
Does anyone else love Aerie? I'm currently obsessing over their new spring collection. I love that they have such good quality at low prices and there is almost always a sale going on. Right now all of their bras are on sale. Go check it out!
When we first got married we didn't see a need for cable so we've just been using netflix and amazon for most of our tv show/movie watching. We caved during football season and recently got a local channel antenna and have been obsessed with The Tonight Show. We went to universal last year and rode the new Jimmy Fallon ride probably 3 or 4 times and loved it so the show always brings back memories of that fun trip!
Plans for the rest of this weekend include: studying for a test, setting up my new design shop site, and then celebrating a friend's graduation! I hope you all have an incredible weekend!
Thanks so much for reading!
